Locally- owned, sustainable companies make Denver a special place to live. Green Door Living is one of those companies, and they take it a step further by giving back to our community. Green Door was a generous donor of The Park's People's Chaffee Park playground build in the Sunnyside neighborhood. We're proud to call them a partner.

We’re proud to call Green Door Living a partner. It’s great to see a local business keep their money in Denver and fulfill a critical market niche. I just bought my home with Green Door and you should too.
"Brad Sandler - Super Realtor! I had a million choices of agents to choose from as I used to own a lender company and I couldn't of made a better choice. Sharp, down to earth, and creative. He went and still goes far beyond the call of duty as a Realtor "

Christian Thompson from Green Door Living was our real estate agent when we sold our home in Englewood, Colorado.
Our first agent, the woman we used to buy the house (from Keller Williams), told us that we couldn't get what we owed on our mortgage if we sold in this market, and that the house would probably be on the market for more than six months.
When I told her about our solar power system, the xeriscaped yard and the energy efficient appliances we'd added since buying the place, her response was that it would help us sell "faster" but not for "more".
I strongly disagreed. After all, I had paid $15,000 for those improvements and couldn't see how that would not factor into the price.
So I called up the Denver green home real estate experts at Green Door Living and in LESS THAN TWO WEEKS, Christian had us under contract using a wide range of online and offline marketing channels.
The entire process went as smoothly as it could have possibly gone and, six weeks after being told that I couldn't sell my house within six months, and that I couldn't get what I owned out of it, we were signing the documents and collecting a check for $8,500 after the mortgage and all fees were paid.
I HIGHLY recommend Christian and his team at Green Door Living.
In the midst of a corporate 'relo' I was introduced to able realtors, but none of them quite 'fit the bill'
for the needs of myself and Anna, my wife. We're a complex couple with needs that - at first blush - probably seem somewhat out of the norm. Urban, but environmentally focused. Cosmopolitan by week night, mountain biking through the weekend.
The first brokers we were introduced to couldn't quite understand our housing needs - and, particularly, how we wanted our housing choices to parallel our personal values and interests.
Enter Brad Sandler.
The recruiter at the company I was considering joining recognized that her brother and I shared several common interests. She didn't "refer" her brother to us as a realtor (particularly as she thought I would be working with another realtor as part of the proposed corporate relo package). Instead, she thought Brad would serve as an "ambassador" for Denver – and help her in her attempts to recruit us away from the Midwest. She also thought that Anna and I had the potential to become friends with Brad and his wife, Austine.
Brad immediately set us at ease. He is a natural people-person, has a deep insight into the neighborhoods of Denver, and enjoys mountain biking to boot. By taking a "tour" of Denver with Brad we were 'sold' - on the new job, on Denver, and on Brad himself. Not only did we decide to move to Denver, we decided to work with Brad outside of the typical corporate ‘relo’ scenario.
At that point in our working relationship I wasn't actually aware of the 'value-add' that Brad brings as a realtor. In addition to knowing the market and tailoring the market to the buyer, Brad also knows houses. He knows their 'bones' - he has skills of an inspector and appraiser. And he knows the environmental advantages and opportunities that houses present.
When working with Brad in finding houses, he helped paint a complete picture of the home beyond the neighborhood and surrounding amenities, stretching to include, for instance, alternate heating and cooling possibilities presented by the home. He also identified alternate financing opportunities that existed if we wanted to retrofit a home to be more energy efficient. He even discussed tax advantages (both Colorado and federal) that could be utilized if we wanted to, say, install solar heat and/or energy arrays on a home.
Perhaps most importantly, he also helped orient potential houses and neighborhoods in relation to the fastest exit to bike trails. He even acted as my tour guide on my first mountain bike rides in the Front Range.
In the end, I’m glad we switched from a well-heeled realtor to a two-wheeled EcoBroker, Brad Sandler. I just hope that some day I'll be able to keep up with him on the Colorado Trail.

"I think you are doing a great job as a Realtor. You always were there when I called, and were Johnny on the spot to show me the inside of a house". -Trish Bryan
