Tea Schook has lived and worked in the Denver Metro area for over thirty-five years. Her backgrounds in various disciplines, including computers, graphic design, law, politics, and property management, make her uniquely suited to assist a wide variety of clientele in buying and selling homes in Colorado.

She has been quite active in local politics, helping candidates get elected and promoting issues and causes she found compelling. She even ran for governor of Colorado several years ago, campaigning throughout the Front Range! She co-authored Denver’s Anti-Discrimination Ordinance, and then led the campaign to keep the law after it was challenged in an election. Tea was the President of the corporation that operated the No on Amendment 2 campaign in 1992.

As a direct result of her length of time in the area, Tea has tremendous depth of knowledge of all Denver’s neighborhoods. She’s watched Denver and the Metro Area grow and change, remembers the wide-open spaces that used to be east of Chambers Road, and knows where to find just-right neighborhoods and homes for her real estate clients!

Additionally, Tea’s life-long commitment to environmental awareness informs her actions.  She participated in the first Earth Day activities in Ann Arbor in 1970!  Tea was delighted to find the EcoBroker certification program when she first started in real estate and proudly carries the title and training into every transaction.

Tea lives with life partner Amy Berk and an assortment of dogs and cats in Northeast Denver.  She has a BA in Communication from Loretto Heights College.  Her hobbies include golfing and web-based comics.

Known for her hard work, perseverance, creativity, and diligence, Tea has spent her entire adult life creating community as an organizer and political activist; now she continues building community as a Realtor and EcoBroker, One Home at a Time.
